How to cook a succulent Sirloin Steak

Chef’s Tip

Remove your steak from the fridge at least 1 hour before cooking to allow the steak to come to room temperature (this allows for the meat to relax and avoids the shock of the cold steak on a hot pan)

Cooking Guidelines

  1. Oil and season your steak with salt and pepper, massaging it into the steak.
  2. Heat hot smoking pan.
  3. Add your steaks to the pan, rare- 1 ½ minutes each side, medium rare- 2 ½ minutes each side, medium- 3 ½ minutes each side.
  4. Put some butter in the pan and stir round and over the steaks.
  5. Remove the steak from the pan once the cooking time is up to allow your steak to rest for a few minutes before serving.
  6. Plate up an enjoy
