2016 Event

On Saturday 27th August 2016 Fun on the Farm was in full flow with stalls, bouncy castles, stunt riders, U105 roadshow complemented by dancers from CONNfidance, Ark Open Farm, Greyabbey Presbyterian BBQ and many others! A fancy dress competition was introduced this year and to the effort that the children made was very impressive, well done! We were blessed with lovely weather and great crowds.

We thank everyone who attended, had stalls or contributed in any way to the amazing £11000 that was presented to Marie Curie NI from Corries Meats on behalf of you all!

2013 Event

Summer 2013, Corries hosted their ‘Family Fun on the Farm’ Day on 24th August 2013. All proceeds went to the Northern Ireland Childrens Hospice. The family day was concluded with a concert in one of the hay barns situated on the farm again raising vital money for the charity.

The Hospice is the only service of its type within Northern Ireland caring for children and young people with very complex needs. With over 600 life limited children and young people and their families living in Northern Ireland who need the specialist care that only a Children’s Hospice can provide. The charity aims to provide the best quality of life for patients and their families in Hospice and the community.

2012 Event

Corries Meats opened their doors for a second time in 2012 to host the ‘Fun on the Farm’ event, raising £24,067 for Action Cancer. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who volunteered and supported the event to ensure that such a large amount of money could be raised in support of such a worthy charity. The money will go straight to making a difference in the work the charity does to save lives and provide support to those people affected by cancer.
